10 COMMITMENTS FOR CREEKKIDZ AND RIVERKIDZ
1.All RiverKidz volunteers have been background checked.
2.Your child will always be with 2 or more RiverKidz volunteers.
3.Bathroom breaks are always supervised by 2 RiverKidz volunteers.
4.Only approved RiverKidz volunteers, Rocky River Staff, and parents dropping off or picking up their children are allowed in the RiverKidz area. No exceptions.
5.We utilize a secure check-in/check-out system where your child’s [name tag #] will be matched with your [parent tag #].
6.We regularly train our staff and volunteers on the risks of child abuse including how to identify potential abuse and avoid any situation that would possibly raise suspicion. We utilize video cameras in the classrooms and other areas of the church as a safety measure in case there is any question about safety and security.
7.We communicate with you, the parent, each week with an email update about fun activities, playgroups, and other family events happening at Rocky River Church.
8.Classrooms are cleaned and disinfected regularly with child-safe products. Toys are regularly disinfected and checked for broken or loose parts for children 2 and under.
9.Parents are notified when their child does not feel well to help prevent the spread of illness.
10. We are committed to the spiritual growth of your child and your family. Each child will participate in Bible-based teaching and activities designed for their age as we help them begin exploring a life-long relationship with Jesus.
