The Mission
The mission of Rocky River Church (what we must accomplish) is simply that of the Great Commission of Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:18-20
“All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

The Strategy
The strategy of Rocky River Church (how we will accomplish our mission and fulfill our vision) is to live out the five purposes of the church as described in Acts 2:42-46.
Inviting people into a life-changing encounter with God (Worship)
Guiding people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ (Evangelism)
Connecting people to others in healthy relationships (Fellowship)
Mentoring people in practical Christian living (Discipleship)
Involving people in meaningful ministry in our community and the world (Missions and Ministry). NOTE: What is the difference between missions and ministry? Everyone should have a ministry in the local church and a mission in the world.

The Vision
The vision of Rocky River Church (what we want to become) is to give people the best opportunity possible to become fully committed, growing followers of Jesus Christ.
