Welcome to Faith Academy
Our mission is to provide a Christ centered education for students with learning disabilities and academic struggles.
Faith Academy is an educational learning center that partners with homeschool registered parents, of children with learning disabilities and academic struggles, to provide a full Christ centered curriculum. Faith Academy gives parents, with a child who struggles academically, an option beyond traditional classrooms or homeschool settings. It combines the classroom setting with the individualized education provided in the homeschool environment.
At Faith Academy the student teacher ratio is 6 to 1, which allows each student to receive a more individualized education in a less stressful and calmer environment. At Faith Academy we use the Abeka curriculum supplemented with other material, individualized to the student’s learning level. Each day begins with a Bible lesson and all students receive a full curriculum education including math, language arts, science, and social studies. Academics are important but community outreach is also an important part of who we are. Throughout the school year the students will work together on a variety of outreach activities that will make a positive impact on others in the church, community, and across the world.
Academic Qualifications (who we serve)
To attend Faith Academy the student must:
•Be at least 8 years old
•Ages 5+ beginning Fall 2024
•Must test on a K-5 grade level regardless of actual grade level
•Be able to care for one’s own physical needs
•Be registered as a homeschool student
•Be able to communicate
